GERMAN shipping giant Hapag-Lloyd is to implement a General Rate Increase (GRI) from Asia, except Japan, to Latin America destinations from February 21, 2023.
The new rates will be applied to TEU and FEU dry containers, FEU high cube boxes and FEU non-operative reefer containers, reports Container News.
The details for the German carrier's increase are as follows: TEU dry container, US$900; FEU dry container, $1,500; FEU high cube container, US$1,500; and FEU non-operative reefer container, $1,500.
