THE 4,917-dwt Comorus flagged general cargo ship My Princess sank in the Persian Gulf off Sharjah, reports Bangkok's Maritime Bulletin, lately of Kiev, that specialises in marine casualties.
Last AIS (automatic identification system) received had the ship leaving Dubai, then sailing north, then changing directions and heading towards Sharjah at a reduced speed.
Built 1986, records show the ship is managed by Swift Shipping Line Inc, UAE.
