FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM's Singapore-headquartered subsidiary CNC is launching a new NTX1 service that connects the ports of Korea, Vietnam and Thailand.
The Intra-Asia short sea specialist of CMA CGM, a global player in sea, land, air and logistics solutions, is to the NTX! service, which is designed to provide comprehensive port coverage in Korea.
"NTX1 offers one of the fastest transit times in the market with a 6-day transit time from Busan to Ho Chi Minh City, and a 4-day voyage from Ho Chi Minh City to Incheon," the shipping liner said in a statement..
The weekly NTX1 service will also double-up as an alternative shipping choice for customers with Thailand- and Vietnam-bound cargoes from Korea.
NTX1 will commence its inaugural sailing on March 13, from Incheon with the following rotation: Incheon, Gwangyang, Busan, Ho Chi Minh City, Laem Chabang, Bangkok, Laem Chabang, Ho Chi Minh City and returning to Incheon.
