ALL terminals in Tacoma, US remained closed on Monday, October 9, due to a fatality that occurred during Sunday night operations at a marine terminal in Tacoma.
The Northwest Seaport Alliance (NWSA), a marine cargo operating partnership of the ports of Seattle and Tacoma, said that normal operations resumed that next day, 10 October 10.
"We appreciate your understanding at this time and offer our deepest condolences to ILWU and the worker's family and friends during this difficult time," noted NWSA in a statement, reports Greece's Container News.
