FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM's short sea lines division has reshuffled/merged its TMX 3 and ADRINAF services between Turkey, Adriatic, Malta, and Libya, effective Week 2.

CMA CGM noted that the weekly service, which commenced from Izmir on January 7, 2024, serves the Adriatic market globally and maintains a sustainable maritime bridge between North Turkey and the Adriatic Region.

The new TMX 3 service features a fleet with four vessels and 1,300 TEU nom.

The port rotation will have a weekly frequency and will call Izmir, Gebze, Gemlik, Malta, Ancona, Rijeka, Trieste, Venezia, Koper, Bar, Taranto, Malta and Bingazi.

In December 2023, the carrier announced it will launch a new seasonal service dedicated to exports of fruits and vegetables from Morocco to North America.

More recently, the CMA CGM short sea lines division announced it had reshuffled its TULYB and GTL services as from WEEK 2&3 between Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Lebanon, Malta, and Libya, according to London's Port Technology.
