As previously reported by Longboat, the dual-fuel 1450TEU container ship is a 2+2 new ship order ship signed by CIMC Pacific Marine Engineering and overseas customers in June 2023. As a new generation of environmentally friendly regional container ships, the LNG dual-fuel container ship adopts LNG dual-fuel propulsion and is equipped with MAN's high-pressure dual-fuel main engine, effectively reducing operational pollution emissions And greenhouse gas emissions. At the same time, the ship is also the first ship in the world to use triple C-type fuel tanks, which effectively saves the cabin capacity and improves the economic performance of the ship.
The liquid tank adopts parallel three-lobe fuel tank design, which is the first Marine engineering system of CIMC Pacific Ocean. The design is tailored for the dual fuel 1450TEU container ship, highlighting CIMC's strong technical research and development strength and production and construction capacity in the industry, and further consolidating CIMC's leading position in the global fuel tank field.
