COSCO Shipping Group has signed contracts with Shenzhen Port Group and Tsinghua University respectively, and the co-operation involves a number of key directions, such as automobile export, green low-carbon and digital intelligence.
COSCO Shipping Group has recently cooperated with large port enterprises and domestic famous universities respectively.
On 18 April, COSCO Shipping Group and Shenzhen Port Group signed a cooperation memorandum in Shanghai.
According to the memorandum of cooperation, the two sides will accelerate the promotion of multi-faceted cooperation in the fields of finance, automobile exports, green energy, logistics, etc., and gradually realise the in-depth synergy of "equity + business".
At the same time, the two sides will give full play to their respective advantages, enhance the ability of Shenzhen Port to serve the entire chain of automobile transport, accelerate the construction of automobile ro-ro hub port, promote the efficient export of domestic automobiles to the sea, and help Shenzhen to build a "new generation of world-class automobile city".
Both sides said that the signing of the contract as an opportunity to further deepen the strategic cooperation, to achieve complementary advantages, mutual benefit and win-win situation, to enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of Shenzhen's international shipping, and work together to accelerate the construction of Shenzhen has an important influence on the world's logistics centre to provide assistance.
On 17 April, COSCO Shipping Group and Tsinghua University signed a framework agreement on strategic cooperation in Beijing.
The two sides will face the major national development strategy of promoting new industrialisation and cultivating new productivity, and based on the principle of "school-enterprise linkage, complementary advantages, collaborative innovation and win-win cooperation", they will focus on the key directions of digital intelligence and green low-carbon, explore innovative modes of school-enterprise cooperation, and jointly build a high-level science and technology innovation platform.
