Norway's IMS Group acquires JOWA

The Norwegian IMS Group announced on 30 April that it has acquired all the shares of JOWA AB, headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden.

JOWA's product range is said to be complementary to that of TeamTec AS, which is also part of the IMS Group. The group says: "JOWA is ideally suited to expand the company's marine products business; JOWA has an excellent reputation and is known for the high quality of its products. At IMS Group, we believe this will help move the company forward and look forward to working with the excellent team at JOWA."

IMS Group's strategy is to maintain JOWA's current presence in Gothenburg, Sweden, and to continue to increase product development based on the Group's strong ability to integrate resources.
