On 24th June, the Ultra-Max bulk carrier "CENTURY ZHENGZHOU" was delivered and launched in Nantong, which is the first ship of Rimauto Supply Chain Management Co. (hereinafter referred to as "Rimauto"), which is the first vessel newly built by Rimauto Supply Chain Management Co. The successful delivery of "Century Zhengzhou" marks a solid step forward for Rimauto Shipping in building its own capacity fleet.
With an overall length of 199.85 metres, a beam of 32.26 metres and a deadweight of 63,550 tonnes, the "Century Zhengzhou" has a larger deadweight and lower fuel consumption than other vessels of the same type. The vessel can meet the navigation requirements of different emission control zones, and in the future, it will mainly focus on trans-oceanic routes to transport grain, coal, iron ore, steel, fertiliser, nickel ore and other important bulk dry bulk cargoes.
As an important mode of bulk cargo transport, maritime international logistics has obvious advantages in economy, environmental protection, security and other aspects, and plays a pivotal role in global trade. In recent years, China's head of the supply chain enterprises in the logistics sector continue to increase investment, the establishment of logistics subsidiaries, the construction of overseas logistics nodes, the construction of logistics infrastructure, and strive to improve the overall level of supply chain collaboration, firmly grasp the key nodes of the transport of bulk commodities, in order to keep the supply chain smooth and stable in the complex and volatile market environment.
Started in 2014, Ruimautong Shipping is responsible for the company's bulk commodity import and export shipping business, and will open up market-oriented operation in 2022, providing financial institutions and investors with business, technical and other package solutions to ensure asset safety and sound returns.
"Under the current international situation, the global supply chain pattern is facing reshaping, which is both a challenge and an opportunity for commodity supply chain enterprises." The relevant person in charge of Rimauto Shipping said that enhancing the autonomy and controllability of ships not only ensures more flexible scheduling, but also helps to shorten the transport time and reduce the logistics cost, and at the same time, it can avoid the risk brought by the fluctuation of the shipping price, and effectively alleviate the situation of "cargo waiting for the ship" in the case of tight capacity. At present, Rimauto Shipping has built up a logistics grid covering the routes of Southeast Asia, South America, North America, Africa, Australia and other major countries, and continues to develop the ship investment business and build up the Rimauto fleet, striving to realise the fleet size of more than 30 ships under management and operation in five years.
In the future, Rimauto will continue to expand its business layout in the logistics sector, enrich its service functions, forge an autonomous, controllable, green and low-carbon logistics supply chain service system, drive the upstream and downstream enterprises to make common progress, promote the development of trade between China and the "Belt and Road" co-built countries, ensure the security and stability of the industrial chain supply chain, and contribute to the promotion of national economic circulation and the construction of a new development pattern. It will also contribute to the promotion of national economic circulation and the construction of a new development pattern.
