CMA CGM to start Turkey-Egypt-Lebanon service

CMA CGM's Short Sea Lines Division has launched the EMED 1 service, effective week 28, providing coverage for the Turkish port of Antalya, with global links in Alexandria, Egypt, and Beirut, Lebanon.


According to CMA CGM, EMED 1 has a fleet of one 1,100 TEU vessel with a weekly rotation to: Antalya, Alexandria, Beirut, beginning at Antalya on July 10.

In May, CMA CGM introduced a new weekly service devoted to West Coast Central America, reports London's Port Technology International.

Recently, CMA CGM relaunched the INDAMEX shipping line to accommodate increased demand between the Indian subcontinent and/or all major US East Coast destinations.
