From 10th to 13th July 2024, which is destined to be a challenging day for "Harbour Future", the refuelling team of SIPG Energy Services successfully completed the LNG refuelling operation of 3 new dual-fueled vessels at Luhuashan Anchorage with a volume of 9,260.9m3 after nearly 70 hours, including the 7500CEU dual-fueled PCTC "Liaohekou", which is the first vessel of Guangzhou Offshore Car Carrier 7300CEU, and the 7300CEU dual-fueled PCTC "Liaohekou" of Dafei Shipping. These vessels include the 7500CEU dual-fuel PCTC "Liaohekou", which marks the entry of China's auto ocean shipping fleet into the "era of big ships", the 7300TEU dual-fuel container ship CMA CGM FORT BOURBON of Duffy Line, which also made its maiden voyage, and the 7,500TEU dual-fuel container ship CMA CGM FORT BOURBON of Hudong-Zhonghua, which has just made a contract with Duffy Line for the first time. Hudong-Zhonghua has just delivered the 13,000 TEU dual-fuel container vessel CMA CGM BELEM to Duffy Shipping to provide cold storage and refuelling services.
Facing the multiple tests of wind gusts, rainfall, high temperature, surging waves and continuous operation in the operation area, the deputy director of Yangshan Pilotage Station personally led the team to escort "Harbour Future"; the crew members of harbour tugs stood firm at their posts, escorting, assisting and monitoring, which became the pill for the safety of the refuelling operation; and the operation team of SIPC Energy Services prepared for rainy days under the guidance of the maritime department, and made plans for the refuelling of the CMA CGM BELEM, a 13,000 TEU dual-fuel container vessel just delivered by Duffy Line. The operation team of Shanghai Harbour Energy Services, under the guidance of the maritime authorities, prepared for rainy days, formulated various measures to cope with possible unexpected weather conditions, and reasonably arranged the division of labour and work and rest time, so as to ensure that the production does not stop and the safety does not close.
"With 3 ships in 3 days, the anchorage refuelling operation has been verified on a regular basis, and so far in 2024, "Harbour Future" has completed anchorage refuelling for 13 times, with a cumulative refuelling volume of 48,220.1m3, and the shape of the offshore refuelling centre of Shanghai Port has already appeared. The prototype of Shanghai Port offshore refuelling centre has already appeared.
