Hong Kong Maritime Week opens November 16 with 53 events
Date:2025-11-04 Readers:
Hong Kong Maritime Week 2025 will launch on November 16 with a record 53 events hosted by 70 organisers, marking the largest edition in the event's history.

The week-long programme will feature high-level seminars, forums and networking activities, drawing government officials and maritime industry leaders from around the world.

Organisers said the event will address pressing global maritime challenges, including volatile tariff regimes, the uncertain path to net-zero emissions and economic instability.

The event has become a premier platform for dialogue and collaboration, with a focus on sustainable shipping, maritime innovation and regional cooperation.

Key events include the Asian Logistics, Maritime and Aviation Conference by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the International Bunker Industry Association's Annual Convention 2025, the International Chamber of Shipping's Second Global Maritime Trade Summit, and TradeWinds' Ship Recycling Forum 2025.

The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region is backing the initiative, which aims to reinforce Hong Kong's position as a global maritime hub.
