DaChan Bay Terminals adds new Southeast Asia service
Date:2025-11-21 Readers:

DaChan Bay Terminals received the maiden call of MSC's new SAMBAR service on November 14, reinforcing its role as a key China-Southeast Asia logistics hub, reported the press release.

The SAMBAR service is a standalone operation by MSC, offering direct links and fast transit times from China to Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. DaChan Bay Terminals serves as the final Chinese port of call, providing exporters with flexible logistics options.

Managing Director Brian Yeung said the partnership with MSC positions DaChan Bay Terminals as a premier gateway for South China exporters. He added the service would help build a faster, more reliable and greener export corridor for shippers in the Greater Bay Area.

Six vessels with capacities ranging from 4,000 to 5,000 TEU are deployed on the route, which includes Dalian, Incheon, Tianjin Xingang, Qingdao, DaChan Bay, Dong Nai, Laem Chabang, Singapore, Penang, Pasir Gudang, Tanjung Pelepas, Vung Tau and Busan.
