Mediterranean Shipping Company has announced a strategic reconfiguration of its PEARL and SENTOSA transpacific services, restructuring port rotations across both Asia-to-US West Coast routes to strengthen the efficiency and coverage of its transpacific network.

Under the revised arrangements, the PEARL service will, effective Voyage 636, introduce new port calls at Haiphong, Vietnam, and Oakland, United States, while discontinuing its call at Xiamen. The adjusted PEARL rotation will operate as follows: Haiphong - Yantian - Long Beach - Oakland.

The SENTOSA service will, from Voyage 634 onwards, discontinue its calls at Haiphong and Oakland, incorporating Xiamen into its revised coverage. The updated SENTOSA rotation will proceed as follows: Singapore - Port Klang - Laem Chabang - Vung Tau - Yantian - Xiamen - Long Beach.

Shippers and freight forwarding enterprises with cargo commitments on these US West Coast lanes are advised to monitor revised sailing schedules closely and to adjust shipment planning accordingly to align with the updated port sequences.
