CHIFENG, a city of Inner Mongolia, a Mongol autonomous region in northern China, has invested CNY1 billion (US$147 million) to build a trade centre in its Hongshan Logistics Park.

Forecast to have an annual trade volume of CNY15 billion, the Hongshan logistics park, after its completion in 2011, is designed to be a bulk cargo hub for northern China and eastern Inner Mongolia region.
