HONG KONG Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) has been named "Air Cargo Terminal of the Year" for the fifth year in a row at the Supply Chain Asia Logistics Awards 2011 (SCALA 2011).

    The award was presented at a ceremony held in Shanghai, and was based on industry votes.

    The company received the accolade in part for its IT expertise and systems, its vast airline network coverage, the high quality of its ground transportation links and its comprehensive abilities in handling specialised cargo.

    Mark Whitehead, managing director, said: "I would like to thank our customers and all those in our community for once again supporting us in this prestigious competition. The award makes all our investments, and the unstinting hard work and dedication of our staff, worthwhile."
