FEDEX EXPRESS, a unit of the world's biggest express delivery company, has announced a one-business day shorter transit time for non-document shipments from Asia Pacific to Italy.
Asia Pacific includes Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam can now benefit from faster deliveries for packages to Italy using any FedEx service at the same rates.
"Europe continues to be a key export market for many businesses in Asia Pacific. This latest service enhancement reaffirms FedEx commitment to providing these businesses with faster and more reliable access to this important market," said FedEx Express, Asia Pacific president David Cunningham.
FedEx has added a direct 777 service from Hong Kong to Paris and expanded its International Economy services from Asia to Europe with eleven additional destinations, bringing the total to 36, said a FedEx statement.
"FedEx EuroOne connects more than 50,000 postal codes in Europe with its air and ground network. The FedEx relationship with local customs in its European hub allows for fast and efficient customs clearance," the statement said.
