On November 23, Solaris Bus&Coach signed a contract with the public transportation company from the city of Pozna? for delivery of 40 low-floor trams, Railway Market - CEE Review reports.

Even though another manufacturer, PESA Bydgoszcz, protested the result of the tender, in order to meet the deadline, Pozna? could no longer wait with signing the contract.

It will be the first contract for delivery of trams in the history of Solaris. According to Solange Olszewska, the president of the company’s management board, thanks to this order new workers will be employed.
Low-floor trams for Pozna? will be produced together with the local companies.
