Globelink West Star Shipping Co has announced the opening of an office in Al-Qibla/Salhiya, Kuwait that provides services to the shipping and transport industry, according to the Shipping Gazette.

"Globelink West Star Shipping Co WLL, Kuwait said it would move towards market orientation by identifying customer's value chains and integrating its services with them to jointly determine optimum solutions.

"We shall offer a strong line of services, ranging from simple sea and air transportation to complex outsourcing activities in line with its global partners and will also be recognised for a high quality, global uniformity, local expertise and knowledge," a company statement said.

Services offered include: LCL consolidation-import, door-to-door shipments, customs clearance for both incoming and outgoing sea and air freight shipments, export services to worldwide destinations for full containers and consolidation services and trucking services for local delivery and inter-Gulf movements, intransit manifestation and overland transportation to Iraq.
