Air China to start thrice weekly Beijing-Milan service June 15

    AIR China is commencing service from Beijing to Milan on June 15, deploying Airbus A330 aircraft to meet growing demand.


    Flight numbers, CA949 and CA950, will be operated on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Outbound flights will leave Beijing at 1330 hrs and arrive in Milan at 1900 hrs. Return flights will depart from Milan at 1330 hrs and arrive in Beijing the next day at 1330 hrs.


    A company statement posted on PR Newswire-Asia said the carrier officially launched a direct Shanghai-Milan route in May 2008.


    Zhou Enyong, general manager of the marketing department, said the carrier is committed to building its domestic and international network, which now covers 29 countries and regions.
