Deputy port director Frank Brogan said if the agreement is reached, the US$1.1 million in federal funds would allow tenders to be called in the next few months.
So far, projects include design and dredging of a dock, landside improvements of utilities and paving for rail access to the
La Quinta
port area, according to the Corpus Christi Caller Times newspaper.
