RAILWAY checkpoint of Sino-Kazakhstani border city Alashankou recorded a trade cargo volume of 1.17 million tonnes in January, a 14.5 per cent year-on-year increase, Xinhua reports.
    Imports grew 11.2 per cent to 721,700 tonnes. Exports increased 20.3 per cent to 444,500 tonnes. In Inner Mongolia, Alashankou area has an international border of 385 kilometres.
