Globe Express Services® (Overseas Group), a top 20 global logistics provider in the Transpacific trade, is proud to announce the recent expansion of our Sales and Operations team for the U.S. Pacific region. Based in Globe’s Torrance, CA (Los Angeles county) corporate office, these seasoned industry veterans – Waleed Moujaes, Director National Sales; John Ramos, Regional Sales Manager; and Brenda Lynch, Region Office Manager – bring a wealth of experience and expertise in creating customized logistics solutions for a diverse range of clients. The recent additions also support an integrated plan to expand the GES corporate office network to 50 locations worldwide by the end of 2011.

In describing the recent expansion, Bill Smith, Vice President, Sales & Marketing (USA), commented: “Having high caliber talent in Los Angeles is crucial. Our West Coast team plays a key role in the success of our current Transpacific operations, while providing a platform for future growth. I’m very confident that our LA team, with the additions of Waleed, John and Brenda, will successfully expand our regional customer base and fulfill Globe’s mission of delivering the ultimate customer service.”

Waleed Moujaes joined GES in 1997 as a management trainee. Over the past 14 years, he has served the company in a variety of roles, including Hong Kong Manager (1999-2001), District Manager – Midwest (2001-2007), and Regional Sales Manager – Southwest Region (2007-2011). In his new role as Director National Sales, Waleed will manage and drive sales activity throughout the western U.S., creating and cultivating opportunities with prospective and existing clients.

John Ramos is a sales professional with extensive experience in client relationship management in both the freight forwarding and commercial real estate industries. He is well-versed in the intricacies of the Asian market and is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.

Brenda Lynch is a seasoned veteran of the logistics and transportation industry, with specific expertise in global imports and exports, budgeting and forecasting, contract negotiation, and market support and analysis.
