THE Chongqing Agricultural Investment Group has reached an agreement on developing a cold chain logistics service with Guizhou, Guiyang, Jiangsu Yunnan provinces to better exploit 300,000 tonnes of produce valued at CNY40 billion (US$6.42 billion) annually, reports Xinhua.

The group's reefer inventory capacity is expected to reach 300,000 tonnes a year and rise to CNY45 billion in value by 2015, increasing further to 600,000 tonnes valued at CNY90 billion by 2020.
