DHL, a world leading logistics company, has become the first global logistics provider to become an Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) in Taiwan as part of the World Customs organisation's Safe Framework of Standards (SAFE) accreditation programme.
The certification, awarded in November, allows the company to offer customers speedier clearance, increasing cost-effectiveness and making it easier for companies of all sizes to be more globally competitive.
Taiwan is the third country in Asia-Pacific where the company has achieved AEO status, following Hong Kong and Japan.
