On August 31, 2011, Mr. Park Jianxiong (translation-by-sound) from SK Shipping, South Korea successfully completed his exchange activities at Shanghai International Shipping Institute (SISI). During the past two months, SISI had provided him with convenient office facilities, sound communicating and learning environment to facilitate his research. Through extensive communication with relevant personnel in SISI, Mr. Park had not only developed keen interests in Chinese culture, but also conducted in-depth research in shipping, port, logistics and other fields, having satisfactorily completed the scheduled research program. This exchange activity has laid a solid foundation for future bilateral cooperation in such spheres as port, shipping and logistics, and provided a reference to SISI for its continuous exploration of new models for international cooperation.
SISI has always been committed to the exploration of open management by actively attracting joint participation of government, enterprises, universities, research institutions, industry associations, and international organizations. All relevant personnel from international shipping enterprises and research institutions are cordially welcome to SISI for exchange and study, so as to jointly explore related issues of shipping, port and logistics etc. |
