Hong Kong-flagged bulker collides with M/V Cec Faith at port of St. Petersburg

    The Hong Kong-flagged dry bulk carrier Gadwall (owned by Gadwall Shipping) has hit the M.V. Cec Faith (flag of Bahamas), which was docked at Berth #32 at Big Port St. Petersburg. The incident occurred today at 2:00 pm local time while the M/V Gadwall was passing via the approach canal with a pilot of the private pilot company “St. Pb Pilot” on board.

    According to the St. Petersburg port’s VTS report, the M/V Cec Faith got her deck and bulwark damaged. The Gadwall Shipping’s bulker continued her voyage to the destination point. There were no oil leaks or environmental pollution as the two vessels were empty at the time of the incident.
