UPS buys firm that delivers packages from websites to consumers

    Package delivery company UPS has bought Kiala, a Belgian firm that delivers packages from Internet retailers to stores, where they can be picked up by buyers, reported Associated Press Newswires.

    Atlanta-based UPS did not reveal the terms of the deal.

    Kiala is privately held and operates in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Spain.
