Alibaba.com has launched a logistics and shipping service on its AliExpress platform, offering users the ability to track shipments and combine multiple orders for international shipments, reported Dow Jones Newswires.
The service, which Alibaba expects to cut shipping costs by up to 30 percent for certain business users, will be provided by Alibaba shipping and logistics partner GELS Enterprise Shanghai and international carriers such as United Parcel Service, Alibaba said.
AliExpress is an online wholesale platform launched last year to allow Chinese merchants to sell products to markets like the US and UK.
