Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) has been voted the “Best Air Cargo Terminal – Asia” at the 2009 Asian Freight & Supply Chain Awards (AFSCAs), the awards presentation of which was held at Intercontinental Hong Kong on 22 April 2009 (Wednesday).
organised by the reputable logistics publication Cargonews Asia, the AFSCAs are widely regarded as one of the most authoritative and prestigious awards for the freight industry in Asia. This annual Award gives due recognitions to those industry players which demonstrate unrivalled leadership, consistent high service standard, inspiring innovation, excellent customer relationship management and high level of service reliability.
After the voting exercise set under stringent judging criteria, Hactl was named ‘The Best Air Cargo Terminal’ in Asia for its outstanding performance in the key competitive areas that all reaffirm Hactl’s values as the leading player in the region to its customers.
“It is indeed our honour to receive the ‘Best Air Cargo Terminal – Asia’ accolade again at the AFSCAs,” said Mr Anthony Wong, Managing Director of Hactl. “This is also a glory for the whole airport community in Hong Kong. I would like to thank all the voters, the Airport Authority Hong Kong, our valuable customers as well as business partners for their continual support. This recognition supports Hactl with better valour to face the challenges ahead, and also underlines our commitment in providing innovative and customised solutions to support Hong Kong as the preferred regional air cargo hub.”
