CHANGXING ISLAND port in Dalian has been approved by the State Council to open 68 berths, including 55 to be build in next five years, reports Xinhua.
 
    The port is located in the Changxing Island Harbour Industrial Zone, which is composed of five islands with a total area of 502 square kilometres. The zone has received more than CNY350 billion (US$54.7 billion) investment in the past five years. Four industries such as petrochemical engineering, shipbuilding and oceanographic engineering, equipment manufacturing and port logistics have entered the zone to business.
