Hong Kong: Hong Kong container traffic dipped in September both year-on-year and month-on-month, according to figures from the port authority. September container throughput stood at 1.96m teu, a drop of 5% compared to 2.06m teu in the same month of 2010.Container traffic also slowed compared to 2.16m teu registered in August.In the first nine months of this year, Hong Kong recorded 18.2m teu of container throughput, a 3.2% year-on-year increase from 17.6m teu handled in the corresponding period of last year.
