JILIN provincial authorities plan to build the largest agricultural produce logistics park in the north eastern province, Xinhua reports.

    The facility will be built in Changchun city. It will have generated a trading volume of CNY16.8 billion (US$2.6 billion) a year.

    A Beijing company, has invested CNY3.2 billion (US$486.3 million). It is planned to cover a floor area of 1.7 million square metres with development separated into three phases.

    The first phase covers 30 hectares' land area and 450,000 square metres of floor space, costing CNY1 billion. The second phase takes up 40 hectares' and 550,000 square metres floor area, costing also CNY1 billion. The third phase takes up 50 hectares' land and 700,000 square metres of floor space, costing CNY1.2 billion.
