BENEFITING from its vast hinterland, the northeastern province of Liaoning's ports saw a robust year-on-year growth of 23.9 per cent in the container throughput to 9.68 million TEU, while overall cargo tonnage increased 13.2 per cent to 586 million tonnes, Xinhua reports.
