Xinfeng terminal at Guangzhou port to suspend cargo handling from January
Date:2011-12-23 Readers:

XINFENG Terminal at the Port of Guangzhou recently announced it will end the general cargo loading and discharging business, excluding aquatic products from January 1.

Additionally, all containers and general cargo placed at the terminal, excluding aquatic products, should be moved out by March 1 at the latest.

The terminal said in a statement that this move is to comply with Guangzhou municipal government's restructuring policy on transforming businesses from secondary to tertiary industries.

Instead, shippers may deliver their cargo by using the Henan Terminal's Fangcun inner berth No 3 and No 4 at the Guangzhou Port, said the statement.
