CWT Globelink, an ocean freight forwarder and consolidator of Less Than Container Load (LCL) cargo is to open an office in Casablanca, Morocco through its association with longstanding partner TMB (Transports Internationaux et Nationaux) Morocco.

    The Globelink TMB office will be run by Mohssine Bensouda as managing director and his established team. Its location will strengthen the Singapore-based forwarder's presence in the Mediterranean and North Africa by offering direct import consolidation from Ningbo, Singapore, Barcelona and Rotterdam and direct export consolidation to Barcelona.

    CWT Globelink is in 24 countries with 96 offices. Globelink also operates in Australia, China, Costa Rica, Croatia, Egypt, Guatemala, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Kuwait, Malaysia, Pakistan, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, UAE and Vietnam.

    The port of Casablanca lies along the Atlantic coastline in Western Morocco and is one of the world's largest man-made ports, protected from the sea by a breakwater.
