CHINA's second largest port for trade cargo, Qingdao, lifted 1.1 million TEU in January, up 18.2 per cent year on year, Xinhua reports.

    The port's cargo throughput tonnage totalled to 31.5 million tonnes, up 13.4 per cent.

    Qingdao Port Group chairman Chang Chuande said the port loaded 2,210 outbound rail cars with cargo every day in January, up 26 per cent compared to the same month in the prior year.
