ELECTRONIC product manufacturer Acer's exclusive cargo train service from Chongqing to Germany has started its first run from Chongqing's Tuanjiecun Railway Container Terminal, Xinhua reports.
Acer also plans to build a multi-functional base offering developing, manufacturing, trading and settlement services in Chongqing.
Chongqing-Xinjiang-Europe railway covers 11,179 kilometres through Xian, Lanzhou, Urmuqi and Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Poland to Duisburg, Germany. The journey takes 13 days. Cargo of this service only has to be checked once before being loaded onto trains in Chongqing and heading directly to Europe
