Fujian launches cross-strait Xiaocuo to Matsu direct shipping service

    XIAOCUO port in southeast China's Fujian province has launched a direct cargo service to Matsu in Taiwan, reports Xinhua.

    The new service comes on the heels of two services from Xiaocuo to Taiwanese Mainland and the Penghu islands.

    Xiaocuo has become an important trading port in Fujian after two year's development. The port transported 332,200 tonnes of cargo to Taiwan in the first ten months, growing 144 per cent year on year. The port's export cargo mainly is liquid chemicals, stone blocks and hornstone.
