ZHONGSHAN customs for the first time applied "green seal" to a batch of export cargo to Macau after checking, Logistics Week reported.

Mainland and Macau customs reached an agreement to facilitate trade in December last year, that both the customs can apply a "green seal" to the checked and released cargo, and such cargo will be directly released at arrival at each other's customs, dispensing with the need to go through further checking.

Shipper of this batch of "green seal" cargo said that it took only a little more than two hours for them to arrive at the Macau destination, much shorter than the estimated four hours.
