Xian Xianyang airport increases Shanghai, Guangzhou flights in new season

NORTHWESTERN China city Xian's Xianyang International Airport increases daily flights to Shanghai and Guangzhou by six ever year in the new summer/fall season for the World Expo in the former and Asian Games in the latter, Logistics Week reported.

 

In the new season, from March 28 to October 30, the airport will offer a total of 51,315 flights, which means 1,710 flights per week on average, 17.5 per cent more than the same period in the prior year.

 

In the meanwhile, the airport is also going to start offering two international routes of Xian-Shenzhen-Kuala Lumper and Xian-Shenzhen-Bangkok, as well as 18 new domestic lines.
