Eastern China's Shandong province is aiming to further professionalise its logistics services and to achieve a growth rate of 12 per cent in its logistics goods value this year, Xinhua reports.
Shandong's logistics services value is estimated to reach about CNY9.7 trillion (US$1.5 trillion) last year, up 12 per cent year on year. This year, the province plans to speed up the development of multi-modal services, to accomplish a logistics added value growth of 13 per cent and a multi-modal turnover volume growth of eight per cent.
