DHL starts 15-day South Korea-Mexico LCL service
Date:2011-03-07 Readers:

GERMAN logistics giant DHL has commenced a direct, weekly, less-than-container-load (LCL) service between Busan and Manzanillo, Mexico that offers a shorter transit time of 15 days.

Operated by Danmar Lines, DHL Global Forwarding's in-house carrier, the service will distribute shipments arriving in Manzanillo to other cities across Mexico, including Altamira, Guadalajara, Leon, Mexico City, Monterrey, Puebla, Toluca and Veracruz via the company's inland network.

SP Song, country manager, South Korea, DHL Global Forwarding, said: "As most trade between South Korea and Mexico currently occurs through the port of Manzanillo, this new LCL service will ensure that South Korean exporters has better accessibility in Mexico."
