Russia's flagship airline Aeroflot will pay no more than US$1.16 billion for eight Boeing 777 airliners in a deal signed with Boeing Co, reported Dow Jones Newswires.

    The value is 47 percent below the total catalogue price of $2.17 billion for the six 777-300 ERs and two 777-200 ERs.

    A Boeing spokesman declined to comment.
