World Airways, a subsidiary of Global Aviation Holdings, has signed an agreement with Cargolux to operate one Boeing 747-400 aircraft on a full-time basis for air cargo service from October 2010 to July next year.
The largest cargo airline in Europe, Cargolux is the eighth biggest in the world and deploys fifteen B747-400 freighters to move valuable and time-sensitive shipments to more than 90 destinations.
World Airways is a US air carrier providing custom services for major air carriers, forwarders, the United States military and operates a fleet of wide-body aircraft.
"World Airways is proud to be a service provider to such an established, quality cargo carrier," said Global Aviation cargo sales vice president Hendrik Falk.
