TORONTO's aerospace industrial fasterner distributor, Interfast Inc and China's AVIC International Zhuhai Company Limited have signed an agreement to create a joint venture company in Zhuhai that will supply the growing aviation market in China and the Asia-Pacific region.

    The agreement was signed at the same time that Interfast is in Hong Kong as part of a trade mission put on by the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Trade to attend the 2011 Asian Aerospace International Expo and Conference.

    "We're pleased to partner with AVIC International Zhuhai Co on this initiative to create a fastener integrator for the Chinese aerospace market that will service the growing needs of both the domestic Chinese aerospace community and international manufacturers, airlines and maintenance repair and overhaul facilities," said Interfast president Peter Oleck.

    Interfast describes itself as a value-added distributor of specialty fasteners, fastening systems, and production installation tooling for the aerospace, automotive, electronics and general industrial markets.
