Date:2010-12-20 Readers:

EVA Airways, Taiwan's largest international carrier, is starting a new service from Taipei to Jinan, the capital city in eastern Shandong Province, using an Airbus A330-200.
The weekly flight is scheduled to depart on Saturdays at 16.25 hours local time from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport and land in Jinan International Airport at 19.35 hrs. The return flight will take off at 20.34 hrs the same day and touchdown in Taipei at 23.40 hrs.
The move comes as EVA Airways is expanding its service to Mainland China to meet growing demand, reports Xinhua News Agency.
Earlier in December, EVA Airways commenced flights to Zhengzhou, the capital city in central Henan Province, where more than 400 Taiwanese companies are based.
The carrier currently operates 77 flights a week, covering 17 destinations on Mainland China, including Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai.
