CEVA Logistics signed a letter of intent to enter into a five-year contract to manage the principal European distribution center for Janssen Pharmaceutica, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson. Under the contract, CEVA will provide a full range of warehousing services from the Greenfield EDC in La Louvière, Belgium.

The center, with 30,000 square meters of floor space, will store close to 4,000 pharmaceutical products for delivery across Europe and to affiliates around the world.

A shared management team, experienced in running sophisticated healthcare supply chains, will manage the new site along with an existing EDC for medical devices in Courcelles, Belgium.

With the support of our expert team, we plan to further increase the efficiency of their supply chain through the effective management of both sites, delivering savings while maintaining the stringent quality standards demanded by the healthcare industry.”
