Former automaker supply manager Inaldy Sudyatmiko has joined APL Logistics in Singapore as senior director of automotive business development.
Mr Sudyatmiko has more than 15 years in automotive logistics as senior logistics manager at a car manufacturer in Europe, as general manager of a automotive third party logistics joint venture in China, and as consultant to automotive companies in Asia Pacific.
Before joining APL Logistics, he was general manager for logistics quality at Renault-Nissan Alliance Logistics Europe, based in France.
"Rinaldy's experience and knowledge will help us take advantage of opportunities in the high-growth markets in China, India and Southeast Asia," said APL Logistics president Jim McAdam.
APL Logistics provides land transport and other supply chain services to the auto industry in Asia and North America. It also is a partner in two auto-related joint ventures, CMAL in China, and VASCOR in the US.
