Four ramp workers to appear in court charged with US mail theft
Date:2011-06-01 Readers:

FOUR former air freight employees have been accused by a US federal prosecutor of stealing US mail parcels destined for American Samoa when they worked for Pacific Air Cargo.

The four, who were employed as ramp workers, have been charged with conspiracy to commit theft from mail between November 2010 and the end of this February.

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser also reported that the four are accused of working with each other to regularly steal US mail parcels during the period in question. Two of the men have also been accused of loading several mail parcels into company vans on several occasions to steal them and their contents.

The four defendants are scheduled to appear in the US District Court in June.
